Outeniqua Transport Museum – vintage trains & trams
Garden Route Botanical Garden
Victoria Bay (detour) – great surf spot and stunning views
Montagu Pass (if you like scenic historical drives, can loop via Outeniqua Pass)
Optional detour: Wilderness just before George for lakes, beaches, paragliding
Mossel Bay
Distance from George: ±50 km (45 min drive)
Highlights:
Diaz Museum Complex – see the replica of Bartolomeu Dias’s caravel
St. Blaize Trail – cliff-top hiking along the sea (do part if short on time)
Santos Beach & Point area – swimming, tide pools
Zipline over the ocean – longest over-water zipline in the world!
Return Route: Mossel Bay → Plettenberg Bay

Stop for a break at Knysna or Wilderness if you missed them on the way out
